After a successful career in the corporate, government, and non-profit worlds, I have returned full-cycle in my career by providing career guidance and resume writing services to clients. With over 30 years of experience as a senior-level hiring manager, I have sat on both sides of the interview desk and have a unique perspective on what employers are looking for in candidates. I have written thousands of resumes across nearly every industry and job classification. I believe that resume writing and career coaching is a partnership between clients and writers that elicits their input and helps them understand the value they will bring to their next job.

I am a licensed CPA and the President of Advise Your Career. I started the business in 2017 when I was displaced due to corporate restructuring. My passion for team development, recruitment, and talent promotion led to me forming my company. I share my expertise and help customers of ResumeEdge as a freelancer to keep up with the market. I am a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches, the National Resume Writer’s Association, and Career Directors International. In 2022, I also achieved the CPCC (Certified Professional Career Coach) credential, enhancing my professional expertise and contributions to the career coaching industry.

I have been in the career industry since 2010. For all those years, I have been working with clients at all levels of an organization across the world, from entry to C-level executives. My coaching helped 500+ clients to achieve their career goals. I am a Career Coach with 6 years of experience who specializes in helping people fulfill their goals professionally and guiding them in the methods and strategies in order to be successful in the navigation of their overall journey. I can teach my clients how to create opportunities for growth and the fostering of innovation, giving guidance in developing meaningful connections with hiring managers, recruiters, industry experts, and industry colleagues via networking on LinkedIn. I believe in providing personalized solutions and evaluations to help individuals determine what is their true calling in life.

Working as a Certified Professional Resume Writer for over six years has given me experience writing resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, KSAs, and personal bios for a broad range of careers. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Management with an emphasis in Human Resources, coupled with personal experience in law enforcement, project management, legal writing, construction, veterinary medicine, and multiple other areas. I was searching for a position where I could work from home with flexible hours, and I fell in love with resume writing because I truly enjoy helping clients obtain their dream positions.

I decided to become a Certified Resume Writer after obtaining my Master's degree in Economics to merge my passion for helping people and working with texts. In 5 years of hard work within the resume writing industry, I gained experience developing resumes, CVs, cover letters, KSAs/ECQs, and LinkedIn profile recommendations for professionals from entry-level to executives in multiple fields. I possess extended expertise in writing, editing, proofreading, and fact-checking with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar. I am multilingual, and my cultural awareness allows me to find an approach to every client with personalized job search strategies.
